5 min. SHIO-KOJI VEGAN PESTO

Mild, Umami packed vegan pesto

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Nuts (cashew, almond, pine, mix nuts…any nuts works)

  • 2 cup Basil

  • 1/4 cup Nutritional yeast

  • 2 TBSP Shio-Koji

  • 1 -2 cloves Garlic

  • 1/4 cup~ Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Blend everything except olive oil in a food processor.

  2. Slowly add olive oil and blend well.

NOTE
  This pesto is mild yet umami packed. Great for pasta, sauce for seafood. Add salt or more shio-koji if you like.
